The 1 Partners with Global Multi-Platform Media Network, Cricket District.

The 1 are delighted to announce that the latest edition to the competition will be global content creators, Cricket District, who will support the event as official media partners. They will join Lydia Greenway’s search for the ultimate female all-rounder at Trent Bridge on August 23rd. Cricket District will make their debut for The 1 at the 2023 edition of the competition. The global content creation brand has an audience of over 1 million with their sole mission to grow the game through the power of social media.

The addition of Cricket District to the competition means this year’s participants will have the spotlight shone on their all-rounder abilities. On the partnership with Cricket District, Lydia Greenway said: “We are delighted to have Cricket District join the team for this year’s competition, they will no doubt produce some fantastic content of the day to really showcase all of the girls’ talent.” Toby Marriott, Founder of Cricket District, said: “We are very excited to be coming on board as Media Partners for The 1 2023.

The 1 is a fantastic concept to allow girls to show off their all-rounder skills, and we can’t wait to discover the hidden gems within girls cricket! ” The 1 returns for its third year on August 23rd, with Lydia Greenway recruiting The Blaze to help in the hunt for the ultimate female all-rounder. The contestants will be challenged with tests on 

the three disciplines of cricket; batting, bowling and fielding. The player with the most points at the end of the 8 tests will be crowned The 1.
